Ribbon Christmas Card Holder

I don't know about you all, but my anal-retentive organized self has already mailed out the majority of her Christmas and holiday cards and now I'm just waiting for them to pour in. Until Thanksgiving, I had nothing to put them in (my grandfather made me a card holding sleigh), so I was seriously considering making one of these Ribbon Card Holders. They look adorable and I can think of a dozen places that I could hang it from off the top of my head.

So if you're struggling to find a place to put all those cards, this might be the perfect idea!

For the past couple days I have been wanting to make this, but never got started because I kept getting stuck at step 2 and the picture was so confusing to me. And then I realized...the picture is upside-down! It makes so much more sense to me now and I am now going to make it. :)

Now here is one of those times when you say..."Why didn't I think of that!" I usually just tape mine to the door too. This looks so much better! Thanks for the idea! :)

I love this idea too - so classy and Christmassy without being over the top. I hope someone does it!

What a wonderful Idea, I always get so sad when my cards are overflowing my table and I have no place for them. they fall and i end up just stacking them in a pile. I wanted to do something, but traditional card holders only hold a few and it gets full too! this is perfect and I can always just add another ribbon if I need more room! plus they are beautiful even when empty awaiting those well wishes! have a great day!

Im mailing mine out this weekend.... Liss - I used to do that too! But I got a card holder one year from someone but it only holds like 12 cards. ALSW- I ♥ the ribbon idea!! ..::::Everything's like "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"::::..

That's a good idea. I usually just tape mine to the trim around the door.

I've done this before, although not as pretty as this. I usually use a wide red velvet ribbon (an idea I stole from a best friend :) ) These are really pretty though, and another idea I will steal ;) *Thank you. My real name... is plain... Jane Jones. (Alice - Closer)

This is something I definitely want to try. I usually stick my cards on my tree or tape them to the wall. This is so much more prettier.
