Rope Headboard
I needed a headboard for the king size bed in our guest room. I wanted something with a natural look and lots of texture. I wasn't able to find anything within my budget, so I diy'ed a headboard with an old door that was collecting dust in my garage, some manilla rope from Home Depot, and about 5 tons of hot glue. Ok, maybe not 5 tons, but it was a lot.

I'm not going to lie. It was a time consuming diy project, but the money-savings and finished look made it totally worthwhile! You can find all the deets here at my blog - Our Fifth House.
