Save or Splurge?

We all have those beauty products we prefer to spend (or save) on.  Whether it be a fancy foundation or a drug store eyeliner, what products do you find yourself spending and/or splurging on?

I splurge on makeup... always. Probably because I only buy Mac Cosmetics, which last me forever.

i splurge on foundation because I like to try out different shades. I don't know if this is good or bad. if my foundation lasts over three months I throw it away because I feel it's changed and especially the color.

I usually only splurge on foundation. I've been loving e.l.f. lately for cheap products. My favorites are their eye liners and eye shadows.

I have to splurge on foundation, no ands ifs or buts about it. Trust I have tried to cheap out on foundation but drugstore foundation just don't work for me. It is too red, too chalky/ashy, makes me breakout, etc. Sunscreen is another product I splurge on. I have no luck on Neutrogena, Banana Boat, Coppertone, No-AD, etc. They all either burn or break me out. Pretty much all of the organic brands are too greasy or make me look like death warmed over. My go to brands as of date is La Roche Posay (which I got my friend hooked on) or DermaDoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Mattifying whatever (which is a total lie but it doesn't break me out). Eyeshadows I save on. I am learning to use eyeshadow so I can figure out what colors work and what doesn't. Blush I splurge on, don't ask me why, I just do. Granted I have a couple of WnW blushes but the colors are so weak. Their sister brand Black Radiance is better but they discontinued my favorite shade. Lippies I save on since I lick my lips a lot so who knows how many glosses and lipsticks I ate during a lifetime.

Cherry Carmex! I splurge on my hair-care products... that's about it, and even then I rarely spend more than $10 on anything.

i have no willpower, so i splurge on pretty much everything, except: carmex (i'm a total addict) astringent (although i prefer biore, the drug store nearest me doesn't carry it, so i often am stuck the ever classy "sea breeze") i also occasionally use white eyeliner on my waterline if i'm really tired...i just use the cheapo sephora brand for that i love sonia kushuk brushes too.

One more--if you are a fan of Cetaphil bar soap, check out the Walgreens knock-off. Good stuff!

If you read this group regularly, I don't even have to go into my love of Oribe dry texture spray for my one and only current splurge! Other than that, I tend to groove on Sonia Kushuk (Target) for the a good chunk of my make-up faves. But when it comes to drugstore products, I have a few that have always stood the test of time... Great Lash mascara--I always go back. Carmex--industrial grade lip balm for brutal winters. Also great for rough cuticles/skin splits and dry heels. Eucerin body lotion, original formula. Need I say more? Walgreen's lavender and chamomile petroleum jelly. A great smelling skin protectant. Versatile beyond words. And lately, with the warmer weather,I have been grooving on the Burt's Bees lip tints in the black tube. Nice, light, and pretty much awesome! :D
