I just applied this today, so I cannot comment yet on the longevity; although I can say that this formula has a great shelf life (I've owned this for 3-4yrs however it was never used. don't know why, lol.) The formula isn't to runny and isn't too thick; the brush allowed for a fairly even application on the first coat, barely needing a 2nd. The color is bold and rich, which is one of the reasons I was first drawn to it; color is the same applied as you see in the bottle. The price was $2
*The base coat I used is by Sally Hansen; it is labeled as "Instant Strength" however it can be used as a base. I find this product keeps my polish on the longest.
I have almost the same type of issue Tdsollog, only it's my fingernails that are always a purple tone; my feet always look freezing since my foot & nail are blueish-purple. This color wouldn't work on my fingernails either.
It's definitely a TOENAIL color. I wouldn't wear a blue on my fingers..... I always have cold & blue fingertips. That would make my fingers look worse.
I actually had that in my shopping cart a while ago and took it out. Now I am really sad as my girls would have love it! Guess I just will have to order again!
I've been wishing the blue trend in nail polish would die a quick death. But now I'm kind of starting to like it - especially since I created the 2 pair of floral shoes. Oy. Both pair have fuschia uppers so I've allowed myself to waffle over nail colors. Now I might have to dive into the blue lagoon. See. You sold me. Double-Dutch thankies for the review.
