Should I stay or should I go?
I finish university next year and find myself at a bit of a standstill. I don't know whether to take a year off after study and travel or to head straight to the workforce. I want to work in media so I fear that if I take a year away from that and don't have fresh work experience/skills I won't be able to get a job when I get back. On the flipside, I really want to go to Europe. I want to backpack for about three months then base myself in the UK and then travel again for another three months once my visa requirements allow me too (you can only travel 90 days at a time within 180 then you have to stay in the UK for the other 90). I'd like to intern a bit in London during that period to rectify this but I don't know how viable that will be. My main concern is that if I don't go after I study I probably never will. Once I start working I want to focus on it and my career progression and knowing myself I doubt I'll ever just pack up and leave my job to roam throughout Europe. I'm really unsure of what to do.
Any thoughts you caould shed would be really appreciated.
I'm not sure if this was the right forum to post this in but the Savvy one isn't very active and there seems to be a lot more users in this one.
