Sleep Sacks are awesome...

As the nights are growing colder (for some of us) I was wondering how to keep Baby J warm without putting blankets on her OR jacking up our heat and thus gas bill. I tried warmer fleece sleepers but that didn’t work. I tried putting an undershirt and socks on then a fleece sleeper but again she’d wake up cold. I could feel her poor little chilly feet through the sleepers.

Alas – I found something that helps. Sleep sacks. They are awesome and since she’s been using them she’s only woken up ONCE during the night. We now sleep 7-12 then 12:30-7!

**Babies R Us has them - buy 1get 1 1/2 off + use the $5 off coupon I posted in Sweet Deals.

My baby adores sleepsacks. We use Halo Cotton ones when it's warm outside and ones from Kohlr Baby ( when it's colder. The latter are kind of pricey but last a really long time (we're using my nephew's hand-me-downs).

The first night she slept longer I didn't as I kept waiting for the wake up. Now I sleep and hope when she teeths it won't be do bad.

I forgot about the sleepsack! I had a cute little white one for my son. My husband thought it was a little girly and reminded him of a dress, so he wouldn't let me put Gabe in it when people were over. I need to remember these the next time I have to buy a baby gift.

Sleep sacks are awesome! I used them in winters for both my boys. Makes me worry a little less about SIDS. Whoever invented these deserves a big high five. In fact, when friends of mine have babies, I often include these with their gifts.

If he's fine with blankets stick with them but if you're nervous still check them out. I think they go to 3T or 4T!

Indeed, they are awesome. We've had Jackson using blankets for a while now, and he's a pro at operating them. But, between seriously swaddling and PJs/blankets, it was the sleep sacks. And it's great that she's sleeping so well! She is on her way to going through the night.
