IMO- 9pm seems really late to get her down. I've always tried to get my kids in their beds between 7-8pm so my husband and I get ME/US time. Let her miss that late nap- give her a bath or something and dinner and put her down for the night at 7-7:30pm. If she wakes up, give her some milk but treat it like middle of the night and put her back down. Everyone has their own schedule and you do what works, but I only say this because I would have no time to myself if my kids went to bed that late. All just my opinion that I have shared with a lot of friends. Cheers!
5 year old sleeps from about 8:30pm to 7:30 am with no nap
2 1/2 year old sleeps from about 8:00 pm to 7:00am with about one 2 hour nap
JennyJen- you let her fall asleep at 6pm- yikes. If it is such a short nap, can't you keep her up till about 7 or 7:30 pm and let her sleep through. 30 minutes at 6pm may throw her off. That's just my opinion from personal experience.
Baby girl sleeps from 9 PM until 6 AM. She wakes up and I give her a bottle - she will stay up for about an hour while I get ready for work. Then I can put her back in the crib and she will sleep for another 2 hours or so.
One definite nap at 1 PM for an hour and then possibly a nap at 6 for 30 minutes or so.
She is almost 11 months old.
Jackson is just shy of 7 months, but he generally sleeps about 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Both are give-or-take half an hour or so. When he wakes up, he'll lay there and play in his crib for about half an hour, and then he's ready for breakfast. He takes, on average, two 2-hour naps a day.
Sleepy Time
How many hours do your kids sleep at night, do they take naps during the day, and how old are they?
My son sleeps from 9 pm until 6 am and he takes 1 1/2 to 2 hour nap every day. He is 4 1/2 years old.
