Smokey eye with grey and satin gold eye look.
I love doing a light smokey eye for day and I spiced it up a little with a satin gold colour.

I wanted to wear a jean skirt today and with that my look automatically goes to a grey smokey eye. But I did want to add a little bit of a highlight using gold. I also wanted to use a lot less products then yesterday, because yes you can use a lot of products, but a little is also great for looks.

- Shiseido, The Skincare - Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam
- Neutrogena Visibly Clear Moisturiser
- Neutrogena PureGlow Eyecream
Preparation
I started with the Shiseido Cleansing Foam again, I did notice that my skin was extremely soft yesterday night and I wanted to see if it's because of this cleanser so I'm going to use it for the next couple of days.
My skin is a little moody for some reason, I think it's because it's rainy and cold one day and warm and sunny the next. So I used the Visibly Clear Moisturizer to ensure no breakouts and the PureGlow Eyecream as my eye cream today.

- Yves Saint Laurent, Teint Parfait no. 7
- Smashbox, Camera Ready Concealer in 3.0
- Smashbox, Concealer Brush no. 4
- Yves Saint Laurent, Touche Eclat no. 2
Face
I wanted to look made up, but not use a lot of products so I kept most things to a minimum, skipping primers etc.
I used the Teint Parfait as my foundation today, I wanted to give my skin a little bit of a break and this works perfectly. For concealing my dark circles I used the Camera Ready Concealer out of the tube on my dark circles and blended this with the concealer brush. I topped it off with a little Touche Eclat for some brightness under my eyes.

- Smashbox, Eye Shadow Trio in Shutterspeed
- Smashbox, Eye Shadow Quad in Supernatural
- Smashbox, Definer Brush no. 15
- Eyebrow brush
- Sephora, Eyelash curler
- Christian Dior, Diorshow waterproof in Black
Eyes
Again I didn't use any primer so I went straight to the middle colour from the Shutterspeed trio, brushing it on with the no. 15 brush. I then used the same brush (wiped on a towel) to apply the grey colour from the lash line all the way up to just above the crease, really buffing the colour into the skin using circular motions (circles moving from the outside of the eye up and then finishing the circle, damn this is hard to explain :S ). I used the same brush again (wiped again) to apply the yellow/gold from the Supernatural quad to the centre of my eyelid and blended it at the edges (over the grey, highlighting this grey and giving it a subtle glow).

This quad really is perfect if you want a natural eye and need some colours to make it look pretty.

I then brushed my brows into shape, curled my lashes and used mascara. I did do something "new" with the mascara though, I didn't brush the lashes outward like you do when you want a more catlike eye, I brushed them inward to create a more open eye.

Lips
On my lips I used a Smashbox lip gloss. This lip gloss (Lip Enhancing Gloss Full Color in Aura) is very sticky and stays put pretty well for a gloss.
