Taco/Fajita Seasoning


The packets of seasonings in the grocery store have so much sodium in them! It is much cheaper to buy the spices and make your own shaker of seasoning. You can either coat the meat with the seasoning then refrigerate for an hour or simply shake it over the meat while it is cooking. This recipe almost filled a small spice container.

Taco/Fajita Seasoning

Ingredients

1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients and mix well, then store in airtight container/shaker.
