The Atari 2600 was a video game console like the Playstation and XBox 360. It was one of the first video game consoles they made that made it big, at least in my opinion. The graphics do not even compare to the video game systems of today, but the games were still fun to play. Pac-Man started on the Atari, and there were other games as well such as Metroid and ET, Ms. pac-Man, Joust, etc. just to name a few.

Oddly enough I have seen Pac Man played on an arcade machine as well as Space Invaders. This makes me feel like I missed something in my life!
