United 93

I watched United 93 at home this weekend and was curious to hear what others thought of it. I found it to be extremely well made and made me feel as if I was there witnessing those horrific events first hand. I am in agreement with the filmmaker and the families that he interviewed that it is not too soon to tell this story. As one of the family members said, "It will never be soon enough." I know that some people simply are not ready to see a movie about 9/11 and that is 100% their call to make.

Therefore, I going to put a poll up where we can rate the film in a 1-10 rating scale and anyone who wants to explain their rating can do so in the comments. I know that this is a subject where heavy debate continues on all sides, so let's be respectful of other's opinions.

I've never watched the movie, but i knew it was coming. I like the actors but i am horrified with the script. How can u really tell a story that deep without leaving out some real important information. Every time i go to BB which is like 1nce a week i pass right by it. every time i ask my bf, "u wanna c U93"..he knows exactly what I'm thinking...NOPE -Huge Tease

I've seen a lot of documentaries....The Falling Man, The Truth About The Twin Towers, Animals of 9/11. It's not difficult for me to watch; that's sounds a little wierd I know, what I mean is that the whole concept of 9/11 is just so surreal to me that I'm often just locked into whatever I see on TV that pertains to it. I've seen the really whacked-out stuff...the plane crashes from all angles, jumper footage, AFTERMATH of the jumpers (gruesome, definitely not for the faint-of-heart). United 93 was a good flick.

I have not seen it yet either. 9-11 is still to real for our family. I thank god for those people!! To be that selfless and to knowingly do what they did with their fate so clear!!! WOW. I feel I owe it to them.. I will see it one day. HEROS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean no disrespect, but I have no interest to see any of the movies about 9/11.

I'm still not ready to see 9/11 movies (the documentaries were hard enough) but I heard this one is very good, respectful, and apparently the families of the people who were on that flight were approached, so that it was sure to be done in the proper fashion

I watched it, I couldnt breathe. Its definetly emotional, and maybe to emotional for someone of my status. It hurt to watch it and thats something I didnt experience watch WTC, but it was really hard , I am glad I watched it bc that story deserves to be told but It was hard and emotional like I said. And whether its crappy or good its a 10 just bc of the story it told.
