Before there was Child's Play, there was 1964's Devil Doll. Although by today's standards, Hugo, the dummy is a bit laughable. But, the freakin dummies from last years Dead Silence were pretty horrible, espcially Billy (see above image). So I ask you Horror Club, dummies scary or not?
Yes! Magic freaks me out!! I see there is talk of Burnt Offerings on this blog and the blog on Burnt Offerings reminded me of Magic, which lead me to this poll.
They absolutely creep me out. And I was totally thinking of Magic and the Karen Black voodoo doll episode. I can't believe someone else knew what that was because I saw it as a child and whoaaaaaaaaaaaaa, it definitely put the freak on me.
you've got to check out Achmed the dead terrorist on You Tube. The comedian is Jeff Dunham. If you're scared of ventriloquist dummies. This guy might just get you over your fear. But "Chucky" freaks me out!
They totally bother me.Weird and creepy. I remember the Karen Black trilogy your talking about. It was pretty scary. lol Oh and the Poltergeist's clown was horrible!

that picture with the finger is creepy! I saw a movie with voo doo dolls i cant remember cuz i was young too, that freaked me out! or it was part of series of scary stories i cant remember the name of it but this guy is running for office and he lives in a house that has voo doo dolls that appear everywhere and chase him and chew on him...it creeped me out! :)
I was scared in that one movie with Anthony Hopkins that had the dummy in it. I was also scared by that one triology with Karen Black with the little voodoo doll or relic that chased her around her apartment but I was a little kid when I saw it.
they are a little freaky. Dead silence didn't really freak me out but the movie Magic totally changed my thoughts on dummy dolls. the clown doll in Poltergeist freaked me out too
It's not something I think about until I watch some horror film where the dummy is the protagonist. Then my imagination gets the better of me and I can conjure up all sorts of fantasies - and not the good and safe kind.
