Very bright eye

Hi everyone,

(Twitter giveaway still going on Valentine's Day, for more info go to:

I did this very multicoloured eye on Nicole a while ago and I promised I'd tell you how I did it, so her it is.

Because I was planning on multicoloured eyes, I used the eyes first skin later technique again. I started with Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion again. Over this I started with the white silvery colour from the Smashbox - Dreamscape duo.

On the eyelid I worked from the inner corners working outward. The yellow/gold colour you see at the inner crease and inner corner is from the Smashbox duo in Delightful. I then used the green from the same duo on the inner corner blending it into the next colour which was Urban Decay - Deluxe Eyeshadow in Graffiti. I blended this colour out around the middle of her eye.

From the outer corner blending the colour into the Graffiti I used Urban Decay - DeLuxe Eyeshadow in Fishnet (mixing Graffiti and Fishnet gives you a blue-ish tint. On the outer corner going into the crease I used Urban Decay - DeLuxe Eyeshadow in Fishnet again. On the deepest crease line and slightly above I used Urban Decay - DeLuxe Eyeshadow in Freakshow. I blended these two purples up a lot.

On the lower lashline I used Bourjois Metallise in 54 Blue clinquant and on the inner side of the lower lashline I used 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Graffiti and I blended the blue from the Smashbox duo in Twilight on the outest corner.

On the top lashline I used AC/DC (Urban Decay) to use as a purple base where I took a thin line of Models Own - Glitter Eyeliner in Purple Princess. This glitter is very very pretty and I love it on these bright eyes.

I used a little Stila - Smudge Pot black on her waterline and then Nic coated her lashes with mascara.

On her face I used a mixture of Smashbox - High Definition Healthy FX Foundation in Light L3 and half a pump of the Make Up For Ever, HD Foundation in 140 Soft Beige. I then concealed under her eyes with Sephora's - Concealer Palette and I used Make Up For Ever - HD Powder to set the makeup with a large powder brush. I contoured her cheekbones with a dark contouring powder by Smashbox and used this on her jawline as well.
