Thanks BR & Joanne! It is the greatest moment. I always said the guys are missing out because I wish just one time my hubby could feel our kids when they moved inside. It is the best feeling and a feeling I will never forget. Just think that is when they are the closet to you heart (literally).
To the ones who do no have kids I am so sorry. I hope God blesses you one day. As far as the bows even as a baby she would pull them out of her hair.
How was you alls labor? My first child was agony. I stayed in labor for 23hrs 4mins. With my second I did not know I was in labor until she was coming out. I had her completely natural. No drugs or anything. I signed consent forms after she was born.

Anyone can have the facts, but having opinions is an art.
I didn't know until I actually had her. When she was
born she was completely silent and the Doctor said "Oh
look at that!" We were freaking out cause we thought
something was really wrong, but then he held her up
for us to see and said "It's a girl and look at those eyes!"
She had huge dark eyes and she just stared at us all. Never
made a sound, just looked at everyone. She was very aware
and was just perfect, she still is! That was 14 years ago
and I am thankful everyday for her. my :baby:
well how silly of me..
heres my story:
okay well i knew i was having a girl first
but i was in denial. every 10 aunts and uncles
had either all girls or a girl first. same
went for my boyfriends family. so we knew the chances
of us having a boy was slim to none. but we still
bought boys things. shoes, clothes, etc. we even painted
the nursery BLUE and decorated it with boys things. so
when the docter told me "its a girl" .. i actually told her:
"are you sure?" "check again"
i wasnt sad just felt bad we had bought all those things.
when i told my boyfriend he said.. quote: "oh"
and thats it. lol. we got more excited later but i
would never tell her that.. she'll feel bad. lol.
:baby:
love my daughter!
I knew I having a girl before the docotor confirmed it. I was excited because ever since I was a little girl I said I was going to have 2 kids a boy first then a little girl and I got my wish. I thought of all the cute little girlie things I would put her in and all the bows and how we would shop together and cook together. Well most of what I wanted came true. She never wanted bows in her hair and wasn't a girlie girl that liked frilly dresses. She is starting to turn into my girlie girl now though. Aww those are sweet memories.
WHEN YOU FOUND OUT YOU WERE HAVING A GIRL YOU THOUGHT...

WHEN THE DOCTER SAID.. "YOURE HAVING A GIRL"
