What do I make for dinner with my boyfriend?

Tomorrow night my boyfriend and I are cooking dinner together for the 1st time. I need a main course & desert. Something good & simple, but not too simple (like shake & bake or pasta). Thanks!

For dessert, mix two cups flavored yogurt w/ two cups frozen extra creamy Cool Whip. Using a hand mixer makes it easier. Scoop in to dessert glasses, or big wine glasses. Top with fruit of choice, whip cream, and cookie crumbs or vanilla wafers. This is fun, versatile, and easy.

A little late, but here's something that might be good for your next dinner together. Flank steak, seasoned asparagus, and baked potatoes. It's quick, easy, and delicious. I think it is, at least. *Poke some holes in a couple of potatoes and nuke them for 15 minutes, or until soft. *Brush steak (1 1/2 lb) w/ olive oil, to help spices stick and help in tenderizing. Sprinkle each side with meat tenderizer, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, about 1 tsp each spice, or to taste. Coat fatty side 1 tbsp with minced or crushed garlic, fresh or bottled. Let marinate for 1/2 hour on counter while you're getting the sides ready. Preheat oven to 425º, and broil garlic side up for 8 min to sear the meat. Reduce temp to 350º, and broil for another 5 min. Flip meat over, and broil for additonal 8 min, or to desired doneness. Let sit 10 min and cut against the grain on the diagonal. Rinse asparagus. Snap off bottom part of stem. Just grab about two inches down, and bend. The old asparagus will break off, leaving you with the frsher part. Coat lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle with about 1 tsp each of season salt, onion and garlic powder. Broil in oven at 325º for 10-15 min while meat is setting. Check around 9 min, not sure if you like yours crispy. As you can tell, I use the same ingredients a lot. The measurements aren't exact, and can be adjusted according to your taste. I love garlic and spice. Hope you like it!! :)

For easy and quick, mix 1/2 alfredo sauce and 1/2 thick tomato (spagetti) sauce, heat and add: You can steam asparagus. squash, zucinni and chop into bitesized peices, throw in shrimp and pour over penne and serve. Easy, and looks fancier than it sounds. Modified Pasta Primavera. (you can use lofat and whole wheat pasta if you like, I've done it both ways and it is flavorful without the extra fat, too.)

Last nite I made chicken breast and all I did was chop up almonds and mix it with some honey, peanut butter, and a little bit of rosemary. Broil it for 25 and some minutes, and just flip it every now and then and served it with steamed veggies. For desert we had parfaits. I just took 2 wine glasses and layered Fat free /sugar free White Chocolate Jello with Strawberries and sprinkled some coconut on top. It was good!

oh, that's exciting popstar, hmmm let's see. As others suggested there are tons of recipes in "Kitchen Goodness." I like the idea of making homemade pizza together. It can be lots of fun! For dessert, you can make your own icecream sundaes. Not sure if this is a laid-back dinner or a somewhat facy dinner by candle light...

I made it last night for dinner. It's very filling so you might need a nap afterwards. The fajita and salsa recipe is really good too.
