What to do with this ginormous mirror?

Hi everyone! I am in the midst of redecorating my bedroom and have a bit of a conundrom. I have this beautiful floor-length miror that is now partially blocked by my bed, because I've decided to move my bed in front of it. As much as I love it I have no idea how to decorate around it, and I'm not a big fan of having a plain old mirror as a head board. I was hoping I could count on some Casa Sugar members for some ideas as to what to do with it.I really love tufted headboards, but I'm reluctant to block off so much of the mirror by putting one up. I found the image below at as an option, but was hoping for some other ideas. Thanks!

What if you hung a bunch of interesting empty frames painted the same color over the mirror? You wouldn't lose any of the mirror itself but it would be more visually interesting. You could use Command strips to attach them so you wouldn't harm the mirror itself. It looks good in my head but I can't find a picture of anyone doing this over a mirror. Kind of like what Casey did on Design star, here's a link:,r:12,s:0 Or you could just put one big frame, like this, right over the mirror:,r:0,s:0&biw=1366&bih=565 Sorry about the long links and good luck! I love your windows and ceiling by the way!

You can also use those new wall stickers to cover up most of the mirror. The damask design or even skinny tree trunks or dandelion stems would look unique. That's not such a permanent option. You can use the same wall stickers and paint over them with special paint for mirrors and then peel off the stickers for a more permanent design.

I'm not sure the HGTV example would work because you'd have to make it more narrow than your bed to avoid blocking part of the windows, so the balance might be a bit off. I think a tufted headboard could look great in front of the mirror, especially if it mimics the shape of the ceiling and mirror, like this one:,+product.marketingPriority&navCount=70&navAction=poppushpushpush&color=&pushId=A_FURN_FURNITURE_BED&popId=A_FURN_FURNITURE&prepushId=A_DECORATE&selectedProductSize=&isSoldOut=
