Winona's Relaunch #27: Coachella Music Festival
First and foremost I'd like to thank ClosetLover for choosing me as the winner of the your wedding challenge. It was a great theme, and I loved working with it.
I noticed that many of my SS sisters and brothers share my love of music. And I thought what better challenge then to take all of us to the largest music festival in the U.S.A., Coachella!
This will be my fourth year attending this weekend long festival of everything musical and amazing. It will be held in the dessert of Indio, CA. In the past acts ranging from Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Florence + Machine, Prince, Jay-Z, Buraka Som Sistema, Paul McCartney, Dead Weather, MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Manu Chao, Imogen Heap, Corinne Bailey Rae, Leonard Cohen and many more have performed
Celebrities frequent the event. Music and fashion journalists abound. It can be a great moment for dessert fashion. I thought it'd be great to see you all create a look that sums up your attitude for the weekend, or inspired by one of the acts performing this year.
Remember: It is very hot. 75,000 people attend. You will be on your feet and about for most, if not all, of the day. The music starts at 10 am and ends at around 2-3am each day. That means your look should be able to transition to night. There are always night parties at surrounding hotels, and on the campgrounds. No age is too young. No age is too old.
I can hardly wait. I just got my wrist band in the mail 8 ) !
