hey guys,
this video made me think of this group:

the song is "God Created Woman" by Teddy Douglas ft. Margaret Grace!
Does anyone know of any other songs similar to this one?
Thank you everyone for celebrating our mothers!! When I set this challenge I knew I'm in for a treat - and I was so right. You all came out with the best of the best - as befits the most important woman in our lives :) I was moved by some of your looks, laughed with some and was immensly inspired by all. But I do have to choose a winner, and that would be...... Ashley303!!!!!! Congrats!!! I loved the story behind her look and the styling itself of course. Go to her stylebook to check it out - it's much worth it!
So thank you for giving me the chance to host this group for the second time. I absolutely loved every minute of it.
Can't wait for the new challenge!
Thanks so much to all who participated in #10 The Women: Katherine Hepburn. As you all know, it is incredibly difficult to choose among so many wonderful and inspired interpretations. Making it even harder - there were the Hollywood looks (all stunning) and the New England, "touch Yankee stock" looks (equally wonderful). I have chosen a look that I believe captures the quintessential (real) Katherine Hepburn - the fashion trailblazer. Congratulation to vrhino, whose look was, if I may quote mandolyn, "Elegance, personified." It's your turn now. I look forward to your choice! Bravo!
This has been such a crazy week. I had a "touch" of flu that I thought had gone away, so I forged full-force into the trenches. I was wrong. I should have stayed in bed with the covers over my head. I can't work next week (school policy), so hopefully, I'll recover enough to lift my head (which feels like a boulder at the moment) and take in all the Katherine Hepburn looks - can't wait! Thanks again AO! I hope my choice will prove fun :)
This was an amazing week! Everyone's Amelia Earhart inspired look was amazing! They are all my fall fashion inspiration! I do love a bomber, leather leggings, boots...I stole so many items from you guys!
This was tough but I absolutely loved Prickly Pear's all black look. It was so modern and all attitude. So, Prickly Pear who will you choose?
Hi everybody,
First of all I would like to thank the people who participated in the Ingrid Bergman challenge.
Now I have to choose the winner!
This is incredibly hard, because everybody came up with beautiful looks!! Well the winner is...
Ajentorange! Congratulations girl!!
I think your look is sophisticated and finished. I know you are busy, but hopefully you have time to give us a new challenge.
Hello ladies and gents!! First of all I want to thank everyone for participating in the Jackie O challenge - you've all come up with amazing looks and I truly think Jackie O would wear each and every item you chose for her. But even though I loved all the submitted looks, I had to choose a winner and that winner is ----- Deanamichelle!!! Congratulations girl!! What I loved about your look are the emeralds and the overall sophistication of the styling. It's something you can easily wear today and is still completely and utterly Jackie. Well done girl, I can't wait for the female icon of your choice!
Hi girls! Thanks to everyone who have submitted looks for my Anna Karenina challenge, I saw so many amazing looks and at the risk of sounding redundant, it was a truly difficult task to choose the winner. I love how everyone sees a different side of Anna and creates looks based on what they see. But, I have to pick a winner eventually so the honor goes to.. (drum roll)... VRHINO! I absolutely love the direction she was going with, very elegant and decadent. She even added a feather fan, which was quite genius. So, Vrhino, I'm passing the baton to you and am looking forward to your choice of fabulous woman! Thanks everyone for participating!
Hi ladies! Thank you to everyone that participated! There were so many jaw dropping looks! I absolutely adored Foulard de Soie's "modern" Cleopatra. It was a super difficult choice since everybody did such a remarkable job.
But, I must choose a "winner" and I choose Binky! First off, I am a huge fan of that TL dress. It is so what I imagine Cleopatra wearing. Plus, I am a huge sucker for serpent jewelry since I collect that myself. And it was a Liz Taylor as Cleopatra look, my favorite Hollywood Cleopatra:) So Binky, now it's your turn to choose a woman!
And once again, everybody did such an awesome job, keep your Women looks coming!
Hi Girls! As Jouel paid me the honor of asking me to set last weeks challenge, can I just say a big thank you to everyone who took part? Some lovely creative styling ensued, and I know Bianca isn't the easiest to style!
Anyway, a winner must be chosen, and I have gone for the creative and always interesting Ajentorange. Not only the owner of one of my must visit S/Bs, but a stylish and modern interpretation of all things Bianca, plus the inclusion of the iconic 70's glitz girls perfume YSL Rive Gauche swung it for me! Congratulations AO, gifts on their way to you! xx
Hi Girls,I'm here to announce the winner for The Women's last challenge as I'm away tomorrow and back only on monday.
