Wonton

While i was shopping the other day, I saw a sale for Wonton wrappers. I picked them up convinced I could find something to stuff them with. A week later, I still havent had any great ideas aside from a plain and boring mixture of beef/pork. Any ideas?

I make tacos with them. Leftover taco meat and a little red cabbage and pineapple coleslaw. Then fry up the won ton or egg roll wrapper like a taco shell, serve with sweet and sour

mcfolly, you should be able to leave a comment on the yum post as well, if you would like. Just scroll down on the page. Please let me know if you have any problems! And I can't believe all of these great suggestions! YUMMY!

Here is a wonton wrapper trick...anything that you would egg and breadcrumb. Cheesesticks, fried shrimp, chicken tenders all work well in wontons. it's crispy and holds together well rather than breaking up like breading in oil. trick two is cream cheese and anything. I like artichoke and onion puffs make like this.

Mini baklava cups, or mini spanikopita bites. You can really make any kind of filling and turn them into ravioli. Wonton soup.

nutella. Giada (from the food network) did this and then fried them, have to say they looked amazing.

found some great ones here: http://www.homemade-chinese-soups.com/recipes-using-wonton-wrappers.html as for me - i love them with either crab meat or with shrimps and some veggies :) and nicely bowed with fresh spring onion :) and then steamed ;)
