Have You Ever Had an Aprium?

While at Berekley Bowl this past weekend, I came across a fruit I had never heard of, an aprium. Clearly, by the name alone it is an apricot and plum hybrid since I love pluots, I figured I would give this hybrid a try too. According to wikipedia, this fruit was born in 1980 and just like I thought it was 1/4 plum and 3/4 apricot. It looks just like a plum but once you touch it, it has the familiar apricot fuzz. To taste it is simply delicious, sweet with great texture. Have you ever tried an aprium and what did you think?
