My name is Katie Sweeney and I have been writing YumSugar, under the PartySugar byline, since it launched in December 2006. I can't remember when I threw my first party. I think it was for my fourth birthday. I host dinners, celebrations, and events all the time. I can come up with any reason to party. I'm all about doing everything myself and enjoy all aspects of a party from the invitations to the food to the decorations. If you want to come party with me, you'll have to be in the San Francisco Bay Area because that is where I live with my cocker spaniel, Lacey.
