Being a minority and a member of the fairer sex I have come to realize that so much of what people expect and how they interact with you is based on what they perceive. Being misunderstood can be stifling. As such, it is important to try and present the most accurate version of yourself to the world. That is what style means to me.
I am currently traveling, so I am limited in what I can wear. This site is a great place to express that part of me that is, at the moment, neglected.
I am the child of Rwandese immigrants with a home base of California. These two cultures have had a strong influence on my preferences. My aesthetic can also be seen in works by Gustav Klimt and Anslem Kiefer. I feel fashion should always be fun, practical, and relevant. As such I would describe my style as modern, whimsical, and comfortable. I hope you enjoy what I throw together.
