The it's cold outside, but not really.

It is such weird weather over here in Germany, that it is getting hard to choose what to wear. I met with a friend yesterday and this is what I wore. The top is actually a dress and I already put it up in my look book, but I like it so much. You can wear it as a casual top, too.

Unfortunately, we have those strange weather changes I had to wear a coat.

Most of the things I found at H&M over the last year. Well, actually everything except the pants (Veo Moda), the shoes (cheap no name ones) and the grey jacket (Zara).

Hubby lived in Ramstein and Spangdahlem/Bitburg. His parents lived in Berlin for a while, before he was born (that was over thirty years ago).

I grew up in a small town near Berlin, where I live now, since 5 years. I was born in the east. The wall came down when I was in 4th grade, so I didn't really get to know the east german regime, but my parents and family and even friends and their family can tell interesting stories. My sister lives in Mannheim now. There is a big American military area, I just passed by it, when I visited her over New Year. I got the scarf last winter, also at H&M. I don't know if they still got these, but they have similars this years, at least over here, but I think the clothing can't be that different, it's still the same company.

I love the thick black scarf with the shirt. May I ask, where do you live in Germany? My husband grew up in your country (as a military brat), sometimes on the American AirForce base, but they often moved off base and lived within the German community. He lived there from infancy through his teen years, and he LOVES it. He feels far more connected to Germany than the USA, actually; it would be his greatest wish fufillment if we could move there as a family. I have such a fondness for your country now, by extension, because he has the loveliest things to say about it. (Our children even refer to his parents as Oma and Opa.)

I like it! I live in VA USA, and we have been having strange weather too, it's about 15 degrees above average here, I don't think it is ever going to get cold this year. I have always wanted to go to Germany, In fact, i took 3 years of German in high school. How do you like it there? Are you originally from Germany?
