This old yellow wood has since been repurposed into part of a shelf, but I liked the way it looked against the vintage silver chipmunk in my kitchen.  Someday when I have a place with a yard, the chipmunk might once again return to the outdoors.

Oh my goodness that is so awesome! I love the text on his leg and the weathered looks is fantastic! I am going to have to keep an eye out for something similar since it is such a great piece.

Thank you! He was salvaged from a derelict amusement park, where he had been sitting, exposed to the elements, for a number of years. I love the weathered look he obtained after all that time spent out in the desert.
