It's too hot to run!!!!

Hey everyone! I hope you guys are doing well. I have not been able to run as much lately because it's been 90 degrees and higher here in Nashville everyday!!! I can't run in the mornings as I already have to get up early enough and by the time I get off work it's soooooooo hot! My face has always turned red when I run but when it's hot outside I seriously turn bright bright red. I have had several people ask me if I was ok! I get really bored when I run on the treadmill at the gym, but it's what I have been doing lately. Anyways, I guess I was wondering if you have found any effective dri-wicking running clothes or running gear. Any ways you have found to keep cool? Thanks!

Hey, yeah the hot weather can be a downer to avid runners. I live in Puerto RIco where year round the weather is in the 90s and in summer it can reach over a 100 degrees. Here are some tips on running in the heat: 1. Always have water nearby, the heat really dries you out and can cause you to faint. 2. Sunscreen is a must always, wearing a hat and sunglasses will help keep the heat out fo your face so that you don't get beet red. 3. Wear clothes that allow you to breath, cotton works for me best, 4. And remember to breath, a lot of people are so focused on the running that they forget to breath so they get tired faster. Michelle
